Ever since the fever on friday, my temperature's been up and down. It shot on Sunday evening to over 38+, so I had no choice but to go to the polyclinic to see the doctor. Quite a different scene. Nurses wearing the protective suits (although not all), and the 'infected' (meaning those with fever), had to put on face mask. Took me close to 2 hours to clear the whole process, only to see the doctor for 2 minutes. Gave me 2 days mc, but by the looks of things, I might have to go back tomorrow :P

Within the past 4 days the world health situation hasn't improved. It's getting worse. Not trying to be paranoid, but this is a typical Hollywood story coming into play. Except there are no shotguns to blast the heads off the infected (which would be a much faster and effective way of stopping the disease). Working (or serving the nation for that matter) does not entitle you to extended holidays (like we wanted), and sneezing on the bus (which I do) doesn't make matters any simpler. It's scary when you are old enough to realise that is in fact is a really serious matter. As much as I hope that the situation eases off, its doesn't seem to be case. At least for now.
5 more days before we find out whether Chuck continues! There's all sorts of campaigns going out to save Chuck, but ratings for the finale hasn't been exceptional (but I thought that it was FANTASTIC).

Slept after dinner from 8 to 5 this morning. Still had quite a hard time getting up from bed to catch the bus.
Today's the end of the Season 2 of Chuck! Yet to watch it, but I heard that it is epic! We'll only know on 5 May whether NBC would be continuing with another installation of the series, but I really hope they do!

Was knocked out immediately after coming back from work. Despite the lack of things to do in office (my boss was out the whole day for meeting), I still felt really exhausted. But after the 3 hour nap at home and yeah, feeling more alert right now. I doubt I'll be up for long though, need to rest early for interview tomorrow morning. The next 2 coming weeks would be really pleasant ones, with 1 public holiday each week, not to mention the shooting camp with the seniors and the j3s planning a little annual surprise for the participants. HAHAH
But after this coming week my favourite tv show CHUCK might be taken off the air. NBC has been deciding for some quite some time whether to remove it, and they are still thinking (really slow). I would very much wish for it to stay on the air for a good 2 more seasons, but if it's going to suck, I rather it end its good record now. Chancing on Chuck was by the far the best thing that happened to me and I know Nicole can agree as well.

Stopped posting for some time already, so I did some touch-up to my practically non-existent lj account. Having been in National Service for more than 4 months feels a relieve. I can't complain or grumble about my posting cause while it might be far, there's always the free time and fun colleagues around. My boss is simple and easy-going, so that makes working for him enjoyable.
Completed my SMU economics interview several weeks. It's an unusual method of doing the interview, having to discuss about the use of acronyms in Singapore's context, particularly in the public sector (you have to understand that the professors were Korean and Japanese). And that's was all. A short discussion, couldn't really think of much point to bring up, but having read the HRM book recently helped in a way. I found out that quite a number had business as a first choice and economics as a second choice.
While I was resting in office yesterday a phone call came in and apparently SMU business invited me for an interview. I'm not exactly sure if they knew I went for the economics one already, but I was what I wanted. Or rather before all the reports came out about the whole business graduates not being able to land jobs. I don't really have much time to prepare (it's on Saturday) so I have to make do. Thankfully I still got 2 more chances at applying, unlike Edmund who is quite anxious about the outcome of the application.
Tomorrow shall be a good day! :D
